Scientists create pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) models and conduct simulations of disease, drug action, and (pre)clinical studies.
Associate and Senior Scientists are responsible for:
Developing PK/PD or similar mathematical models and simulations of disease, drug action, and clinical trials essential for our clients to streamline their drug development programs;
Defining key issues, analyzing data, interpreting and presenting results, and developing associated regulatory reports; and
Leading projects, assisting with client relationship management, and participating in Rosa's business management, depending on the candidate’s experience and professional goals.
The ideal Associate or Senior Scientist candidate will have:
A post-graduate degree in clinical pharmacology, medicine, pharmacometrics, statistics, bioengineering, or a related quantitative field;
A minimum of two (2) years of relevant industry experience in areas such as mathematical modeling and simulation, pharmacometrics, clinical pharmacology, or population PK/PD;
Proficiency with industry-standard pharmacometric/statistical software tools, for example, WinNonlin, NONMEM, Monolix, or S-PLUS;
Demonstrated ability to address complex drug development problems with incisive modeling approaches; and
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative Rosa-client project team.
